Whilst being closely supervised at all times by fully qualified and CRB checked coaches your child will be taught the following basics.

Jab, cross, hook and uppercut. We will teach the correct mechanics for delivering these punches with accuracy, speed and power.

An integral part of boxing. We will teach children how to move efficiently around the ring to deliver punches and evade them. Children will learn improved coordination and balance.

We will teach children the importance of physical activity for their health and wellbeing. Some of the exercises will include: Skipping, jogging, push ups, sit ups etc. We will teach the importance of a balance diet.

We have been involved in boxing for over 10 years and the changes we have witnessed in some children is quite unbelievable. Our aim is to give boys and girls the facility and experience to enjoy the sport of boxing without any contact. We are at the heart of the community and we provide a friendly but hardworking environment to train and improve your child's health and fitness.

The Little Rockys team are fully qualified ABA amateur boxing coaches, level 2 first aiders, level 1 safeguarding and are advanced CRB/DBS checked.

Your child will reap several benefits from the sport of boxing. Training in this sport helps children to excel both physically and mentally.

All activities are NON contact and based around fun and games in a safe and friendly environment. There will NOT be any sparring! If your child enjoys learning the techniques and wishes to progress we have amateur boxing gym they can attend.

On the final day of the course you will be invited to a presentation so that the children can demonstrate to you what they have learnt. Each child will be presented with a trophy and certificate.

Classes for ages 6-12 (Girls & Boys).

Our classes run in term time.

All boxing equipment is provided.

Every child will receive a level 1 boxing certificate and Medal at our awards presentation which you can attend.

The cost of the 6 week course is £30.

To secure a place a 50% deposit is required.

Payments made by website bank transfer or cash.

All coaches are enhanced DBS checked.

Level 2 safeguarding and Level 2 first aid trained.

All couches are ABA qualified england boxing coaches.

Where do you have clubs?

We have clubs all over tameside in Various locations with more being added all the time.

Can the children do any sparring?

No. Little Rocky’s is non contact. If your child would like to take part in sparring wf have close connections with all the local Amatuer boxing clubs.

Do you sell boxing equipment?

Yes we do. We have boxing gloves skipping ropes and club t-shirts for sale.

Do you provide School holiday camps?

Yes we do. Little Rocky’s works closely with all the schools in Tameside. Majority of which have holiday camps.
